So page 11 is a day late, but here it is in all its glory. I am sorry to report that it is late because like an idiot, I plunked down 10.00 dollars to see Batman vs. Superman. There is 2 hours and 50 minutes of my life that I will never get back.
What happened there? It was like they tried to cram every iconic moment from the last 60 years into one movie. DC and Warner just don’t get it. Let the comic be the comic and the movie be the movie.
Contrast their effort with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This movie is a GOOD movie. It isn’t just a good “comic book movie.”
You would think with an Academy Award Winning Screenwriter and accomplished director on the set of Batman vs. Superman things would have went better. I am of course talking about…
Ben Affleck!
Maybe things would have went better if Big Ben had slipped behind the camera and re-wrote some things. Argo was pretty damn good, and Good Will Hunting picked up an Oscar for screenplay back in 1997.
Just sayin’
You hear that DC? That’s Marvel eating your lunch.
Next time crap or get off the pot.
