This was supposed to be an easy page. Five senses, five panels, right? Wrong. Five panels became six. Six became seven. This is the danger of writing on the fly. Initially, this was to be a pretty straight forward layout, but the more I worked on it, the more I hated it. I had just crammed way too much information into one page. Stephen recommended the current arrangement and flipped the last panel so that the tracks lead off the page instead of into the page. That flip suggested a better bit of staging for Nightstik. It makes more sense for him to have his back to the train instead of profile.
I was a little worried about readability, but I think I’m going to throw it up there and see how it looks.
